And it sounds like horse's hooves...

The baby's heartbeat that is! We got to hear the heartbeat today at my 12 week appt and the baby's heartrate is 157! So we did that first, then Eric went back to work. I don't blame him, I wouldn't want to sit through an exam and then a blood draw. Which I might add, they got on the 1st try this time! Yay! The average the last two times have been 2.5 pokes...yeah 4 the first time, and 2 the second. So, I am pretty happy with just 1 poke to get blood!
I have gained about 6lbs...the doctor wants me to gain anywhere from 25-35lbs. I am hoping more for the 25lb mark, but that means more exercising than what I have been doing, because I am definitely eating more!
Something on the Non-baby front...we have green grass growing finally in our yard! Yay!! Plus we got a few more trees and bushes at an auction this past weekend so we are looking pretty good for landscaping now!
Well, back to work I go, just wanted to update everyone on baby's progress. We will have our ultrasound on November 7th, so I am pretty excited about that!!
