So, I totally forgot to write about my 24 week appointment that was almost 2 weeks ago. They have me going almost a half week early than what my actual week is, so I went at 23.5 weeks for my 24 week appt. So here is the update on that!
They just took the usual...urine & blood pressure(both were fine). Then she also checked the fundal height and he was at 24cm and I was 23.5 weeks at that time so he was right on track. I told her last time he was +2cm from the week he should be and she said it could all depend on how he was positioned both of those times when measuring, so I guess we will see at the next appointment in January. Not really looking forward to that one...that is the glucose drink test with blood draw and then I get my rhogam shot at that one too. Blah! Baby has been in the head down position I believe for a long time now with his feet off to my right side. Boy does he really get kicking in the afternoon and especially if I am sitting up in a chair. Ouch! He should be a little over 2lbs now as well and should be just starting to breathe with his lungs! We just picked up the rocker for his room as well last night. My friend sold me hers that she used for her two little girls (don't worry...the color is baby yellow!) So I am pretty excited about that...it is very comfortable! (also just a plus this week...I didn't gain any weight! yay! I have been gaining plenty and it is nice to not see another lb this week, but I have a feeling with Christmas on Sunday, next week's weigh in will not be so nice!)
In other updates....
I baked two batches of sugar cookies last night. Hunter will help me either tonight or tomorrow to frost and decorate them. He is pretty excited about that. My family loves these sugar cookies that we make and what my mom makes hardly makes it to Christmas as they get eaten within a couple days, so I am helping make more! I am also making chocolate covered pretzels, Mississippi Mud, Puppy Chow, and 2 pies for Sunday for my side family Christmas, so LOTS of baking going on today and tomorrow!
