We have reached week 28! Yesterday I had my appointment and blood pressure and baby's heartbeat were all good. I am measuring just a couple days early but pretty much right back on track for March 30th. Baby is sitting sideways right now with his feet and hands downward towards my feet so I get a lot of kicks...or punches in the bladder! Yesterday was also the dreaded Glucose testing where I had to drink a glass of orange glucola. Talk about THICK, way TOO SWEET, but at least cold drink! I got it down in 4 minutes...they wanted 1 minute! HA! I don't think so! Then after 1 hour they drew my blood. Had to get a second person to do it...first poke didn't work. Finally got blood out of my wrist while laying on my side. I got really light headed and nauseated and she asked me twice how to spell my full name and birth date to make sure I was ok. Then I got my rhogam shot after that. GLAD that appointment is over! Now the waiting game. She said we would hear within 48 hours of the test whether I failed it or not or if I am anemic. So if I don't hear anything by 11:00am tomorrow then I should be good. So keep your fingers crossed for me! We start going every 2 weeks now for appointments. 12 weeks to go! I bet the time will fly by, so heres hoping I can get everything in order by then! Lamaze classes start on Monday. I better take my camera...I hear they make the guy put the fake belly on to see how much weight we are carrying around! LOL. Eric is SUPER excited about that...NOT!
Well, I think that is all for now.
I am hungry...lets go eat!
